Advise for future Members: Continue building connections with faculty, staff and administrators on campus and pursue projects that you are passionate about and feel can evoke positive change. PILOT is only as good as you make it. You get what you give, and always remember to work as a team. The skills you gain, such as working in teams, planning events, public speaking are invaluable and will be helpful no matter what you choose to do in the future. These experiences may very well shape what you do in the future, so give it your best.
Current Status: I am a first year Masters of Public Health (MPH) student at the University of Michigan School of Public Health within the department of Health Behavior and Health Education.
Hopes for future PILOT: I would like PILOT to keep it's strong focus on social justice in everything that the members pursue and to continue to engage high school students to pursue higher education as well as encourage Michigan students to give back to the community. I hope future members focus on personal development and support one another in finding resources and contacts to help in their progress.

Advise for future Members: Focus on what's important - prioritize. As over achievers, we always want to do everything and burn ourselves out with a million small things that we might not have the energy to do what's really important.
Current Status: I am currently working as a legal assistance at Immigration Law PLLC, an immigration law office in Ann Arbor. Hopefully going back to school for a JD or masters degree in the fall.
Hopes For future PILOT: I would love to see PILOT continue to grow in power (in a good way). We have extremely important connections with administrators and staff and this is something huge to continue growing. Apart from this, its great to continue being involved in the community and working with others and those that come after us. I am so so proud of PILOT and am super excited to come back and see all the great things it's doing.

Advise for future Members: Learn how to manage your time wisely and study smart, not hard. http://www.planetofsuccess.com/blog/2012/how-to-study-smart-not-hard/ If you have student loans, try paying a small amount every month. If you pay your student loans while in school, you get a higher tax refund. I wish I knew that while I was in school.
Current Status: I am currently on my first year rotational in Boeing's IT Career Foundation Rotational Program working in Application Integrations. I live in St. Louis, MO.

Why Involved in PILOT: I was one of the co-founders of the organization in 2010, and saw the need to help develop leadership qualities in students who I saw had the potential to take charge of organizations or movements on campus.
