*BHP is no longer accepting applications for 2017-2018.
The purpose of this program is to locate prospective University of Michigan students and assist them in their application process. Facilitated by our student members, the program consists of three parts: summer, Fall semester, and Winter semester. We aggressively work towards the students' college application completion while on campus to ensure they receive the highest consideration for admissions. Current students and alumni work continuously with them on their essays. PILOT members and volunteers follow up with the participants on their applications. There is also a mentorship aspect, ensuring that any questions are answered. Altogether it adds a sense of community to our campus, giving the opportunity to assist possible future students who may not have had the opportunity to apply otherwise.
