PILOT consist of smaller committees that strive to build and enhance each individual student in the Organization.
Mentorship Program Committee The main function of this "new" mentorship program is create a new sense of mentoring within PILOT. The reason behind this is to hopefully accommodate the rapid growth of PILOT.
This program is designed to help awaken hidden potential and demonstrate all of the possible opportunities many students are not aware of. Our overall goal is to teach PILOT’s passion for the underprivileged community to the mentees, and help those whose voice have been denied. PILOT always strives for strong leadership adequate, while still teaching strong values of academics, and communication to it’s members and affiliates. The mentorship program will help venture mentees off to various resources around campus such as faculty, staff, and offices who PILOT has strong ties with. Finally, a lot of time and effort will be placed in the mentorship process in order to make sure that our potential new members will contribute great ideas to the community at large with the aid of PILOT.
Project Coordinator Committee The committee is in charge of overseeing the multiple projects that we are doing as an organization. They ensure that the projects have tasks and deadlines that they are meeting. They are also in charge of new project ideas that arise and helping to make those projects become a reality.
Professional Development and Leadership Committee Professional Development and Leadership Committee strives to promote professional skills in both academic and professional settings within PILOT. Our goal is to ultimately build professionalism through resume workshops, presentations, and case studies. We partner with leaders all over campus to expose the top resources to PILOT’s members and affiliates to successfully build coalition and create impactful change on campus.
